Biochemistry Cricket Match
The confident Biochemistry students challenged the staff to a game of indoor cricket. The students fielded a strong team captained by speedster Mohan raj Krishnan. Richard Macknight was worried about the abilities of his team and in particular his American imp
ort. Batting first the students scored a very respectable 77 with some good batting by Reagan Jarvis. The students score was reduced significantly by losing a number of wickets to the surprisingly good fielding of the staff and the confusing form of bowling from the HOD that we term "ultra-slow". In response, the staff took a more conservative approach, only being dismissed three times - twice by Rowan Herridge who ran out both his PhD supervisors. In the end the staff made 100 runs and won comfortably. The students challenged the staff to a rematch, the staff declined.
